The Ballston Area Recreation Commission (BARC) will be sponsoring BOWLING for 5 weeks on either a Saturday or Sunday afternoon for Kindergarten through Middle School or Tuesday evening for Middle and High school students at Tippy Bowl, 24 Washington St., Ballston Spa.

ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR SPRING SPORTS WILL OPEN FEBRUARY 1 and CLOSE MARCH 1, 2012. Log onto www.ballstonarearec.org and go to the online registration. If you have already created an online account, you will be able to access the information used from your last registration. IF YOUR PHONE NUMBER, ADDRESS, OR ANY IMPORTANT INFORMATION HAS CHANGED, PLEASE UPDATE IT.

IF PRIOR TO THIS, YOU HAVE NOT REGISTERED ONLINE FOR A BARC PROGRAM, YOU WILL NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT AND REGISTER. REMEMBER TO CHECK OUT!

BEGINS – APRIL 28, 2012 ENDS – JUNE 16, 2012

To be eligible children must be residents of the Ballston Spa school district and depending on the sport ENTERING KINDERGARTEN THROUGH NINTH GRADE in September of 2012. Children outside of these grade levels are NOT ELIGIBLE. If your child is eligible for Kindergargen and you do not send them in the fall, they can not participate in Fall soccer.

THESE ARE MIXED BOY/GIRL TEAMS –YOU CAN ONLY REGISTER FOR 1 SPORT DUE TO AN OVERLAP OF SCHEDULES. There is usually no Friday or Sunday scheduling.

THERE IS A NON-REFUNDABLE COST OF $15.00 WITH A CAP OF $35.00 FOR A FAMILY OF 3 OR MORE. A late fee of $10.00 will be charged after March 1st and the child accepted only if there is space. REGISTRATION BY MARCH 1ST IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

T-Ball: Entering Kindergarten or First Grade (2 week nights or a week night & Saturday morning). Week night practices at 6PM – Saturday at either 9 or 11AM. (Milton Terrace School)

Instructional Baseball: Entering Grades 2&3 (Entering 1st accepted with proof of playing on a T-Ball team last season). Same playing days as above. (Milton Terrace School)

Soccer: Entering Kindergarten through ninth grades – Twice a week – 1 week night at 6PM and 1 Saturday at varying times (10AM, 11:30AM, 1PM, or 2:30PM). Not eligible if playing on a SCHOOL TEAM. (Eastern Avenue Rec Field, Ballston Spa)
