Sandlot Soccer

Sandlot Soccer is a co-ed program designed to: (1) provide younger players the opportunity to continue to train and play with their peers during the summertime; and (2) provide players intending to play varsity, JV, freshman, or modified soccer with an opportunity to train and play together in advance of tryouts

  • Open to players ages 4-19
  • NEW Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • U4 to U6: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • U8 to U12: 6:45 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
  • U13 to U19: 6:45 p.m. – 8:45 p.m.
  • BARC fields, 61 Eastern Ave, Ballston Spa (Field lights will be on; BARC building will be open)
  • $60 fee.

Elite Soccer Training Program

Boys & Girls: Wednesdays July 10, 17, 24, 31 and August 7

6:45 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.

The Elite Soccer Training Program will focus on the technical skill development of each player by utilizing drills and exercises that will help each player build a quality first touch, close control, ball mastery, speed, and soccer awareness in a professional training environment.

  • Open to Grades 3-12
  • NEW Goalkeeper Training Sessions

NIGHT Co-ed Pre-season Soccer Camp

Grades 6-12• August 12 – August 16 • 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

The Co-ed Developmental Soccer Camp is redesigned to give female and male players grades 6-12

game-like experiences with small-sided play and tournament-style activities. Local high school and college coaches/players will instruct participants as they compete, improve skills and develop teamwork in a fun yet challenging environment.

Day Co-Ed Youth Developmental Soccer Camp

Ages 3-7 • July 29 – August 2 • 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Grades 3-12 • July 29 – August 2 • 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The Co-Ed Youth Developmental Soccer Camp is designed to teach age-appropriate skills of soccer and teamwork. Local high school and college coaches/players will instruct the players each day through drills and games. The camp will be grouped into several age/skill levels. We encourage you to register your child/children in the group that you feel they are best suited for. The age groups are: ages 3-5, ages 6-7, Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6, and Grades 7-12. If you have any question regarding which age group your child is best suited for, please contact one of the Camp Directors below.

  • Camp will be held at Back Soccer Fields at the Ballston Spa High School
  • A concession stand (Drinks and Snacks) will be available at lunchtime.

Mini-Kickers (Ages 3-4) and Mighty-Kickers (Ages 5-6)

Mini-Kickers is a fundamental introduction to the game of soccer. The Mini-Kickers program is a way to learn about soccer while developing social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. More importantly, the Mini-Kickers program focuses on building a child’s self-esteem through a variety of fun games each week.

Mighty-Kickers bridges the gap between recreational soccer and competitive soccer, with an emphasis on individual skill development. With our unique curriculum, youth players will be exposed to a much more progressive, systematic approach to player development. Sessions will include Dribbling, Passing, Shooting, Protecting the Ball, Dribbling, More Dribbling, and Small-Sided Games.

Iron-Kickers (Ages 7-8) and (Ages 9-10)
